Italian in love with a Romanian woman, “ȚEPUIT” with over 600,000 euros. How did the young woman convince him to send her the money

A woman from Gorj was sent to court for hundreds of acts of abuse of trust. Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Gorj Court accuse her of misappropriating more than 600,000 thousand euros received from an Italian for the construction of a SPA center in Gorj county.

The indictment was validated by the Motru Court, which decided, in the preliminary chamber, that the trial can begin, but the sentence is not final.

In the criminal complaint, the Italian showed that he met the Romanian in 2011, in a strip club in the province of Treviso. The Romanian woman was a dancer in the bar, and “when she was in the private place with the customers, she undressed completely”, reports adartu.ro

“I was her private client several times, and in this context we caressed and kissed, these being services provided by the dancer for a fee. I specify that I was paying about 50 euros for 15-20 minutes”, the Italian told the Romanian police.

The Italian also said that in this context he fell in love with the Romanian, she left the club where she worked after about three months, when the Italian started supporting her financially.

“In the fall of 2011, I gave him 6,000 euros because he told me that he had to have eye surgery. Then I gave him about 10,000 euros because he told me that he had to repair the windows of a house. After she stopped working as a dancer, she moved to Romania, but she came a few more times and stayed for two or three days. I gave him the money. Also, between November 2011 and January 2012, I sent her the sum of 5,000 euros by bank transfer because she wanted to have a high lifestyle and needed money to support herself”, the Italian also declared during the investigation open to his complaint.

The man also said that before he left for Romania, the woman proposed to him to establish together a company that would manage a SPA center in Romania, in which he would have 51% of the shares and she would have 49%.

The Italian also says that shortly after the establishment of the company, the Romanian woman told him that she “wants to buy a BMW X6 car” and asked him to send 50,000 euros to her personal account.

According to Romanian prosecutors, after the agreement regarding the establishment of the company, the Italian transferred the sum of 40,000 euros (two transactions) to the account of the company opened in Romania. Later, the Romanian sent another account to the Italian, without the man realizing that this was, in fact, the personal account of the Romanian. Thus, in this account the Italian transferred the equivalent of over two million lei, in euros.

From the euro account, the Romanian transferred her money to the account in lei from which she transferred to the company’s account in the form of credit. Practically, through this method, the Romanian became, with the Italian’s money, the financier of the business.

“The defendant’s defenses regarding the title on the basis of which she would have received the sums of money withheld in the present case, namely “for the comfort of the relationship” cannot be accepted. These are refuted by the evidentiary material from which it is clearly evident that the defendant carefully premeditated the criminal activity, the efforts made by her to determine the civil party to continue funding her bank account, efforts that included declarations of love and promises of marriage or exhortations for the civil party to sell their home. It is not allowed for a person to take out bank loans or to analyze the possibility of selling their own home, in order to finance the ‘comfort of a long-distance love relationship'”, it is stated in the indictment sent to court by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Gorj Court. The trial will be heard at the Motru Court.
