Manchester United grounded Sevilla Of Europa League quarter-finals. Meanwhile the Italian duo, AS Roma and Juventusthrough to the semifinals.
In the second leg of the Europa League Quarterfinals which was held simultaneously, Friday (21/4/2023) early morning WIB, MU visited Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan to face Sevilla.
With a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford, MU tried to score goals as quickly as possible. Instead of scoring a goal, MU conceded a goal in the eighth minute by Youssef En-Nesyri.
In the second half, MU could not get back up and instead conceded again in the 47th minute after Loic Bade netted David de Gea. En-Nesyri’s second goal in the 81st minute put an end to the Red Devils.
Sevilla won 3-0 and are entitled to advance to the semifinals of the Europa League with an aggregate of 5-2. If England had no more representatives in the fourth round, Italy would have placed two clubs.
Juventus and AS Roma managed to get rid of their opponents. Juventus drew 1-1 at Sporting when Adrien Rabiot scored the first goal, before Marcus Edwards equalized.
The Old Lady, who won 1-0 in the first leg, qualified 2-1 on aggregate. Roma beat Feyenoord 4-1 in extra time.
I Lupi won 2-1 for 90 minutes through goals from Leonardo Spinazzola and Paulo Dybala. Dybala’s goal was scored in the 89th minute after Feyenoord equalized the score in the 81st minute through Igor Paixao.
Two goals from Stephan El-Shaarawy and Lorenzo Pellegrini ensured Roma’s passage in the Extra Time round. Bayer Leverkusen also qualified for the semifinals after losing to representatives of Swiss Union St Gilloise with a score of 4-1 at home to their opponents.
Draw 1-1 in the first leg, Leverkusen escaped 5-1 on aggregate through goals from Moussa Diaby, Mitchell Baker, Jeremie Frimpong and Adam Hlozek.
