ROMA – Waiting for the last two acts of the championship, decisive for resolving the duel between Milan and Inter for the scudetto, it is time to award another trophy. On Wednesday 11 May, with the kick-off at 9 pm, Juventus and Inter will face off in the final of the Cup at the ‘Olimpico’ stadium in Rome.
Where to see it on TV
The bianconeri – holders of the trophy after overcoming Atalanta in the final act of the last edition – defeated Fiorentina in the semifinals, while the Nerazzurri eliminated the Rossoneri with a 3-0 return derby. The match is broadcast live exclusively by Mediaset: the match will be visible in the clear on Channel 5 and in streaming on the Mediaset Infinity platform and on the Sportmediaset website.
Allegri thinks of an offensive Juve, Inzaghi finds Bastoni again
The suspended De Sciglio is absent for the Italian Cup final at Juve, while Pellegrini has recovered from the ankle problem and left for the capital as well as Locatelli (already in the group since Sunday). Allegri finds Danilo, who has enjoyed a couple of days of rest: there is likely to be an offensive formation, as per some tests made at Continassa.
On the Nerazzurri front, however, the good news for Simone Inzaghi is Alessandro Bastoni’s return to the group after the calf problem that forced him to miss the last few matches: if the defender still feels pain, Dimarco seems to have an advantage over D ‘ Ambrosio.
The probable formations
JUVENTUS (4-2-3-1): Perin; Danilo, De Ligt, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Zakaria, Rabiot; Cuadrado, Dybala, Morata; Vlahovic.
INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Lautaro, Dzeko.
