Amazon, the big news for sending Christmas gifts: how it works
As reported by Engadget, in fact, all users subscribed to the Prime service will be able to send a Christmas gift or in general a product to a friend without needing to know the address anymore.
To send the package to the friend’s (or family’s) residence will be enough enter their email address or even phone number. You may be wondering how the product can reach its destination at this point and above all how to use this innovative function.
Just choose the product and select “add a gift receipt for easy returns”: at that point you will be directed to the cashier and choose “Allow the recipient to provide their address”. Amazon will then send the recipient a notification, in the form of an email or text message, in which the user can enter their home address to receive the gift.
What if the gift doesn’t satisfy you? Changing it will be very simple. The recipient can in fact exchange the item for a gift voucher of the equivalent amount, all without the sender being aware of it.
