– It will be quite humid

– There is low pressure that will affect the weather in the coming days, says on-duty meteorologist Martin Granerød at Dagbladet.

The Norwegian Directorate of Water and Energy Resources (NVE) has issued a yellow danger warning for flooding in east-central Norway in the coming days.

– It will be quite humid, so you just have to find both an umbrella and a rain jacket, Granerød continues.

– It can reach up to 20-25 millimeters on both Thursdays and Fridays, and in Agder and inland there can probably be even more, says Granerød on Wednesday evening.

People in certain areas in particular will be at risk, the forecaster believes.

– In areas where a lot of leaves have fallen and leaves cover basins and drains, there will be rainwater, he says.

So you just have to go out and make sure the docks aren’t covered.

In the rest of the country, too, it is clear that we have started the autumn well.

– It is generally autumnal in much of the country, but most of the rainfall will fall in southern Norway, he says, before pointing out:

– There won’t even be good autumn weather in the north, but it will be a bit drier than in the south.

However, it has good news for those who don’t like winter.

– The low pressures in the sea outside of us give us high temperatures. It’s mild and looks like it will continue for the next few days and into early next week, says Granerød.
