“It will be in the conscience of those who rejected us”: chronology of the cruise that nobody lets dock | Univision Salud News

The Zaandam cruise ship, a ‘wandering’ cruise ship that travels with dozens of people, four dead and at least a couple of passengers infected with coronavirus, managed to pass the Panama Canal on Monday after they had initially been denied passage.

The Zaandam travels alongside the Rotterdam cruise ship, which has provided assistance since they met off the Panama Canal days ago.

Now, after more than 20 days at sea since they left the port of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on March 7, the ship continues on an uncertain course after the authorities in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the place they plan to go, said that they would not accept the ship.

The American passenger Laura Gabaroni, who was transferred from Zaandam to Rotterdam, told the AFP agency: “Four people are now dead, and that is in the consciousness of all the people who rejected us along the way.”
