NRK’s TV manager, Arne Helsingen, confirms to VG that there will be a new season with “Maskorama” next year. Several celebrities have already asked to be participants.
Project editor at NRK Jan Egil Ådland is already working on a new season.
– It will be a fantastic season, he says to VG right after the Snow Monster with Didrik Solli Tangen behind the mask won this year’s Maskorama ».
– But as with so much else that is about “Maskorama”, we have to keep the cards close to the chest, Ådland continues.
He states that with a total of around 1.2 million viewers every Saturday, many have enjoyed themselves in front of the TV screen this autumn.
– With so much entertainment for so many, it is also important that we develop a little. The participants are of course important, but at the same time it is demanding to be a participant in a program like «Maskorama». It requires a lot of preparation and you have to tie up many weekends in a row, says Ådland.
– Have you received requests from people who would like to join next year?
– Yes, we have, says Jan Egil Ådland.
