US President Joe Biden again recalled the US State Department’s travel advice during a press release Thursday evening with NBC News anchor Lester Holt.

“The Americans have to leave now,” Biden said, after explaining there was no scenario that he would deploy US troops to lead the evacuation of Americans from Ukraine, despite previous reports of an evacuation plan.
