Examining the interesting colored stone they saw on the road, the duo decided to send it for analysis, thinking it might be a meteor.

The duo, who sent the sample they took from the stone to the Turkish Energy, Nuclear and Mining Research Institute Nuclear Energy Research Institute Istanbul Campus, were excited by the result that the stone was an “iron meteorite”.

Making a statement to the AA correspondent, Emre Can said that when they found the stone, it weighed 11 kilograms, and they sent some of it to the Nuclear Energy Research Institute for analysis.


Noting that as a result of the analysis, it was determined that this stone was an “iron meteorite”, Can said, “The iron rate in the stone is very high and it has a magnetic field. It turned out that the iron ratio is 95 percent and the nickel ratio is 4-5 percent. It is also very sensitive to magnets. It is necessary to examine the stone in more detail. we want.” said.

Saying that they have a 7 kilo 524 gram meteorite in their hands, Ömer Öztürk stated that they think the stone is very valuable and said, “They said that the stone we sent from the places we sent for research does not belong to this world. We want the meteor to be used in a beneficial way for humanity.” he said.
