A well-known lunchbox company announced that it would apply separate retail prices to all three delivery platforms.
They publicly criticized the problem on their website, saying that the delivery platform takes 30% of delivery sales.
As of last month, the share of delivery platforms was Baedal Minjok at 59% and Coupang Eats at 24%, with the three delivery companies taking up 97%.
When ‘Baedal Minjok’, which has the largest market share, raised its commission by 3 percentage points to 9.8%, the same as ‘Coupang Eats’, the franchise business reports Baemin to the Fair Trade Commission and the conflict is increasing.

The delivery app winning council, which was launched last July, put their heads together five times to solve this problem, but they did not find a clear solution ‘ plan proposed by Baemin.
The plan is to categorize stores based on delivery sales and apply a low commission rate to businesses with low sales.
However, the effectiveness of the different tax method is not clear, and it is not clear whether restaurant companies will agree to it.
