Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – For folding bike lovers who want to sell these items, it seems that they have to be wary because the price is dropping. This also applies to the price of premium Brompton folding bikes, which is thought to have occurred because the cycling trend has begun to decrease.
This is evident from the price of bicycles at the official Brompton dealer, Spin Warriors, who recorded the price of the new S6R type Brompton bicycle priced at Rp. 34,000,000. While at OLX, the price of a used bicycle is the same type, the 2018 Brompton S6R is only at Rp. 26 million.
Meanwhile at Tokopedia, the Bike Center store sells a new Brompton M3L bike at a price of Rp. 32,800,000, and that’s also an 8% discount from the original price of Rp. 35,000,000. Meanwhile, the price of used and still in good condition on OLX is only Rp. 21,000,000, there is a price difference of Rp. 11,800,000.

The used bicycle seller explained that most of the parts were genuine Brompton, ranging from shifters, wheelsets, u breaks, saddles, zefla pumps, hubs, to pedals.
“Type M3L 2014, Original Dynamo, front and rear Brompton lights, 3 speed speed, 2014,” said the seller quoted by OLX.
