WASHINGTON, KOMPAS.TV – The leader of Daesh, an ISIS-affiliated group, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi, turned out to be an informant for the United States (US).
Uniquely, Abu Ibrahim often provides important information to the US about the organization he is currently leading.
He even provided information about the number two ISIS leader named Abu Qaswarah, who was then killed by the US army.

This was disclosed in a secret interrogation report obtained by the Washington Post.
In the report, Abu Ibrahim is referred to as Prisoner M060108-01 and is described as a role model.
The Iraqi man is also a cooperative figure with his captors and often quarrels with them.
