It took 5.5 years, but Sea of Thieves is getting private servers on Thursday

Avoid having your loot stolen.

Starting on Thursday, you can finally avoid being raided by other pirates in Sea of Thieves. Then Safer Seas is introduced, a new game mode where you and your team are not exposed to other human players. In other words, it is a private server where you only fight against computer-controlled characters.

Much (but not quite all) that the game has to offer is included in the private mode. Exceptions are Guilds, Hourglass Factions and a few others. And the Trading company career is limited: it gets a level cap of 40 and the gold rewards are only 30 percent of what you get in the High Seas game mode (which the regular Vs All mode is renamed to), reports VG247.com.

Sea of Thieves was released in the spring of 2018, and then had little content. Rare has fixed that by constantly adding new content. Nice enough without the price tag. The game is available for PC and Xbox, and also on Game Pass.
