AMD has announced the start of global sales of new Ryzen 7000 processors that don’t have the “X” suffix in their name. These chips differ from their older counterparts in their reduced 65W nominal power consumption, lower clock frequencies, and more affordable pricing.

The older model Ryzen 9 7900 offers 12 cores with support for 24 virtual threads and runs up to 5.4GHz. AMD priced this processor at $429 in the US and €479 in the EU.
The Ryzen 7 7700 model offers 8 cores with support for 16 virtual threads and runs up to 5.3 GHz. The recommended cost of this chip in the US is $329, and in the EU – €369.
The younger model Ryzen 5 7600 received 6 cores with support for 12 threads. The processor works up to 5.1 GHz. The novelty is estimated by the manufacturer at $ 229 in the US and € 259 in the EU.
Sooner or later, these processors will also reach Russian retail, as was the case with their older counterparts.
