Compared to the “SoDA Salary Survey” of 2022, in this year’s edition of the report, the average salary of an IT specialist at the regular level (2-5 years) increased by 6%. in the case of B2B and amounted to PLN 16,612 net (amount on the VAT invoice) and 12 percent. in the context of an employment contract, reaching a level PLN 11,427 gross.
The issue of the level of remuneration due to the size of the employing entity is also interesting. In the case of B2B contracts, the highest median remuneration applies to companies with more than 400 employees – PLN 21,193 net and employing between 51 and 100 people – PLN 19,428 net. The lowest in entities from the group of 1-50 employees – PLN 16,500 net.
In the case of employment contracts, the highest median remuneration was recorded among companies employing over 400 people – it is: PLN 12,308 gross. Interestingly, the smallest companies (1-50 employees) in this case are in the middle of the pack – with a median of PLN 10,532 gross. This shows that they do not pay the lowest in their category on the market.

The “Salary Report 2023” of SoDA shows that people working in DevOps Engineer i Cloud Engineer. In the case of B2B contracts (net amounts), the average monthly rate of a specialist at the regular level is PLN 18,504and in the case of seniors (+5 years) PLN 23,956.
The next two specializations most valued on the market are Business Analyst i Software Developer. In the first case, specialists with average experience earn on average PLN 16,485and seniors PLN 20,195. On the other hand programmers can count on average PLN 15,743 for the regular i level PLN 20,879 in the case of seniors. They ranked below project managers, specialists in Quality Assurance and UX/UI Designers. The salary range for people with average experience is from over PLN 11,000 to PLN 14,500and in the case of seniors from approx. PLN 15,500 to PLN 18,000.
The distribution of remuneration by specialization among persons employed under an employment contract looks similar (gross rates). However, these amounts are proportionately lower. For example, the average salary of seniors DevOps and Cloud is PLN 17,350a Software Developers – PLN 15,734.

Currently, there is practically no project that would not be implemented without the use of cloud solutions. It is therefore not surprising that at the top of the remuneration pyramid there are specialists in IT. DevOps and cloud computing. In the case of programmers’ salaries, apart from experience, technological specialization has a huge impact on the rates. The strongest bargaining chip still has companies that – apart from high remuneration – can offer the implementation of interesting, development projects.
