It is an attempt to reverse the sinking of the Titanic, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the film’s release, as the director finally tries to stop the eternal question and confusion about the “door scene”.

One reviewer commented, “There’s room in that door for a family of 4.”
However, the “National Geographic” channel re-enacted the scene in a scientific way using actors surrounded by sensors in cold water.
They consulted a hypothermia expert, while one commented, “Within 8 minutes, Jack would have been unconscious in that position.”
Incidentally, director James Cameron told reporters that the object is not an actual door, but a plank of wood from the first-class lounge. But whatever it is, it has been tested before.
As the Mythbusters pointed out, if they had just strapped Rose’s jacket under the plank, the extra buoyancy would have supported both.
But director Cameron was unimpressed, saying, “He had to die. He had to die,” and the director compared it to Romeo and Juliet.
So it looks like this movie-related feud will never go away.
