I love mine lift tableI have a review this strangenessand so the article of the device Acer eKinect BD3 it could not fall on anyone else. It’s unprecedented a combination of work table and stationary bike – should make us active during otherwise sedentary office work, which is dangerous to our health in the long run.
The size of the table is small, you will need to put the vase and tray somewhere else.
I see the main advantage in motion, but Acer comes louder with an ambient line – eKinect converts the mechanical energy of your pedaling into electricity, so you can recharge your laptop while you work. We don’t know anything about the efficiency of the built-in generator, but producing around 20 or 40W for a typical office laptop won’t be a big deal – it certainly shouldn’t be a high-performance sport that will leave you sweating profusely in the office. A steady recreational pace should be sufficient.
The press release mentions several ways that allow you to change the resistance of the bike, the position of the seat and the height of the board depending on whether you want to focus more on work or exercise. A companion mobile app tracks your progress over time and displays information like duration, calories burned, and watts generated. Basic information can also be displayed on the LCD panel directly in the table top.
In work mode, the desk surface moves closer to the chair to allow cyclists to sit upright while typing and pedaling. In sport mode, the tabletop is moved forward, revealing a huge handle hidden underneath (like on a standard trainer), thus increasing legroom and increasing pedaling power.
There is another ecological dimension – the tabletop contains recycled plastic. Acer already puts it in laptops, so why not use it here too? The eKinect features two USB-A and one USB-C port, so you can charge more devices. There is a purse hook and a drink holder
