Price of Pertalite and Pertamax today, Monday (5/7/2022) there has been no change. Specifically for Pertalite, the government is still holding back the price of Pertamina’s fuel by subsidizing it from the APBN.
Subsidies and compensation for energy commodities continue to swell. PT Pertamina (Persero) received additional subsidies of Rp. 71.8 trillion and compensation for fuel of Rp. 234 trillion. Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati explained that the difference between the price of Pertamina’s energy products and the economic price in the market is indeed very high.
The difference in the economic price of diesel reaches Rp. 13,000 per liter. Pertamina sells diesel at Rp 5,150 per liter while the market price is Rp 18,150 per liter. This means that the existing price difference is being held back through energy subsidies provided by the government.

“Compared to the price held by the government and the economic price, this July the difference is Rp. 13,000. For diesel, it is still sold at Rp. 5,150, even though if you follow today’s oil price, it is Rp. 18,150. So each liter there is a subsidy of Rp. 13,000,” Nicke said in a working meeting with the Commission. VI DPR RI, Wednesday (6/7/2022).
Meanwhile, the Pertalite subsidy reached Rp 9,550 per liter. If you want to follow the market, the price for Pertalite should be Rp. 17,200 per liter. However, through subsidies and compensation from the government, Pertamina sells it at a price of Rp 7,650 per liter.
Latest Pertalite and Pertamax Prices
The price of Pertamax at all Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) varies depending on the region. Meanwhile, the price of Pertalite at all gas stations in Indonesia is the same, namely Rp. 7,650/liter.
Pertamina makes adjustments to fuel prices from time to time in order to implement the Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) ESDM No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning Basic Price Formula in Calculation of Retail Sales Prices for General Fuel Oil Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil Channeled Through Public Fuel Filling Stations.
