The state is racing against time to complete the implementation of the works The focus of the team is Kamal AmerIt is the first free traffic artery linking the north and south of Giza, and a new link linking Giza and Cairo Governorate through several entrances, within the framework of the vision to develop axes and roads in areas that suffer from traffic density.

1- It is considered one of the most important longitudinal axes of the highway network that is linked to the ring road, as the implementation of this axle represents a great addition to the Greater Cairo region, due to the remarkable development it will achieve in the flow of traffic.

2- The axis extends from Al-Munib Circle in the south to Al-Warraq in the north until Rawd Al-Farag in the Tahya Misr axis, with a length of 15 km and a width of (33-65.5) meters.

3- The project includes the construction of a two-way free corridor with a width of (3-4 m) traffic lane in each direction and the development of surface roads to serve the traffic movement of the people with a width of (2-3 m) traffic lane in each direction, and the construction of free intersections to connect with the ring road and the main intersecting traffic axes with her.

4- The new axis connects several main axes to each other, which are (July 26, the League of Arab States, Saft al-Laban, Faisal, and Al-Haram), in addition to the streets (Al-Sadr Hospital, Al-Thalathini, Khatem Al-Mursaleen, and Imbaba Airport), and it also connects many residential blocks, which are ( Al-Munib, Al-Omraniya, Bulaq Al-Dakrour, Al-Agouza, Ard Al-Liwa, Imbaba, Al-Warraq, Awsim, and Rawd Al-Faraj).

5- The axis serves many areas, the most important of which are Al-Omraniya, Al-Sadr Hospital, Al-Husayniyya, Al-Bahr Al-Azam, Al-Mansouriya, Al-Omraniya, Al-Munib, Saft Al-Laban, Nahia, Boulaq Al-Dakrour, and the Cairo University area through a descent on Al-Sudan Street.

6- The axis reduces the density in the Ard Al-Liwa area for those wishing to go to the League of Arab States, and it will serve those coming from the 26th of July axis in Sheikh Zayed City towards the League of Arab States.

7- It contributes to reducing travel time and eliminating traffic jams in Giza Square, the 26th of July Corridor, and the Saft El Laban Corridor, as well as reducing travel time between the north and south of Giza through the Ring Road.

8- It contributes to reducing the distance between the governorates of Cairo and Giza with new traffic linking axes.

9- It will achieve a great cultural and investment value, which is represented in the exploitation of the spaces located below it in the establishment of parks and various service points for citizens, including kiosks, restaurants, commercial stores, and civilized parking for service cars.
