Heavy snowfall has been observed in the last hours in Central Northern Bulgaria. In places, nearly 20 cm of snow accumulated. Before noon, the situation became more complicated along the important old mountain passes Shipka and Hainboaz.
Snow continues to fall on Shipka today. The movement of cars is carried out in winter conditions. Although the road is white, chains are still not required.
On the northern slope of Shipka, cars are literally crawling because of the partial icing in places.
