In Krefeld, around 50,000 people leave the city every working day to work elsewhere. About 60,000 come from surrounding communities to earn their living in the silk city. Almost 61,000 remain within the Krefeld city limits for their gainful employment. This was determined by the State Office for Data Processing and Statistics (IT.NRW) for the year 2021 and published yesterday, Wednesday.
