Usually beer is synonymous with content alcohol. However, there are beer products with no alcohol content and with a halal certificate.
Beer is known as a popular alcoholic beverage in the world. Beer is made through the process of fermenting starchy materials without going through the distillation process after fermentation.
For Muslims, of course, beer is a forbidden drink for consumption. But now, many alcoholic beverages are made without alcohol or called zero alcohol.

Sherley Ruslie, as chief executive of the Rasa Group, said this drink should be consumed by all groups, especially those who are not allowed to drink alcohol.
“We intend to do Ramoe to be able to unite all categories, groups and groups of consumers so that everyone can experience the same pleasure,” said Ramoe Grand Launching at SIAL Interfood, JIEXPO, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (09/11/22).
According to him, this drink is designed to challenge the trend of Indonesian drinks by creating a new and unique taste. Furthermore, Sherly said that Ramoe had obtained a halal certificate.
“We are different from others, because we have received the halal certification. From there, the process is also different”, Jordy as Sales and Brand Marketing Manager for the Rasa Group.

Ramoe is also a low-calorie canned drink. Jordy said a can of Ramoe contains only 80 kcal of calories. “This number is relatively low,” he said.
This beer soft drink can be enjoyed right away or it can also be created with various other types of drinks as per individual tastes.

Regarding halal certification, we have contacted LPPOM MUI and are still waiting for a response. As food and beverages similar to non-halal products cannot be certified halal.
