The service has long been actively criticized by players, but the developers did not react to this dissatisfaction until recently. On the updated Rockstar website, attentive users discovered that the studio is going to abandon the Social Club brand.
Enthusiasts carefully studied the changes on the Rockstar Games website, both its external elements and internal content. Many users found it very suspicious that there was no actual mention of Rockstar Games Social Club, as was the case in the previous version of the site. All links or mentions of this platform have been replaced with placeholders with template inscriptions like “Rockstar Games” or “Rockstar Games Platform”.
Apparently, Rockstar has decided to abandon the Social Club, and perhaps they are preparing a new platform for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6. It is quite possible that the new platform will be shown along with the game’s debut trailer, which is scheduled for December this year.
