Reuters previously quoted the Washington Post as reporting that the detailed agreement was six pages long and that all parties would freeze combat operations for at least five days. At the same time, “the initial 50 hostages will be released in batches every 24 hours, or even more.” The report also pointed out that every move on the ground will be monitored from the air to ensure that combat operations are not suspended.
