You no longer have to fear and can safely circle your calendar with a permanent marker: Cyberpunk 2077 will no longer be postponed.
Developer CD Projekt Red has indicated this during a conversation with investors.
The game was initially scheduled to release in April of this year, but was postponed to November 19. According to the developer, the optimization is going well and the game looks beautiful. The team is close to a finished version that can be sent in for certification. “November 19 is the only day we have and we will deliver,” said CEO Adam Kiciński.
More information was shared during the conversation. For example, the multiplayer will receive microtransactions, but they will not be aggressive and the developer will treat fans fairly. Also, the story would be three times bigger than that of The Witcher 3 and there will be no public beta.
