It is neither global, nor liberal, nor order

For the sake of this hollow phrase, the powers that be in Washington expect the people of the world to embrace and welcome their own impoverishment

There are few positive and uncensorable things that can honestly be said about modern world politicians like Joe Biden, and especially his administration, which operates as a force openly hostile to its own middle class, not to mention the collage of porridge, created internationally. But it is precisely the frankness of intentions, shining through sporadic omissions, verbal blunders and even well-thought-out statements, that is one plus of today’s pathological progressive power. There is no need for conspiracies, investigations, interpretations and reading between the lines.

Sometimes the American president and his people directly tell each other what it is about. “It’s not like you weren’t warned” is a refrain that those tricked into voting Democratic are yet to hear.

A few days ago, the director of the National Economic Council at the White House, Brian Dees, “dropped” one such revelation. A TV host asks him what he would say to families who can no longer afford the exorbitant gas prices. Dees said: “Look, the president has articulated the stakes very clearly. It’s about the future of the liberal world order.” The economic adviser wanted to defend another scandalous speech by Biden earlier in Madrid. Then, when asked how long American consumers and the people of the world in general would have to pay higher prices because of the war, the 79-year-old career politician replied sourly and bitterly: “As long as we have to.”

The context of the war in Ukraine should lend more legitimacy to the White House’s justifications for runaway inflation, but it’s clear to most non-zombified people that prices had gone up before the invasion, especially for US fuel. Graphs demonstrate how almost immediately after the start of Biden’s term, inflation in America is running, and the war only accelerates the process that started long before that.

The extremist green policies of the current administration and the Democratic Party in Congress are a major driver of the economic pain and woes afflicting people around the globe. But it is interesting to dwell on the phrase used by Brian Dees – “the world liberal order”. People are expected to swallow inflation and their own impoverishment in the name of this liberal world order. Ya, let’s see, what is this miracle, what kind of animal is this that is more important than the health, safety and well-being of people outside the bubble of the progressive elite? What Dees wants people to defend at the cost of their own impoverishment and suffering is actually the official state ideology of the current US administration and several other Western governments. Most notably, their narrative of what the great Western civilization must finally mutate into—energy greenism and “Gretenism,” LGBT month of incessant corporate and institutional propaganda, critical race theory in classrooms, historical guilt and ethnic masochism in the media, rampant mass migration, destruction of the monuments of the past and rewriting of history, constant apologies for Western achievements, changing the gender of children and adolescents as normal, heroizing street recidivists and dehumanizing normal patriots and working citizens… A strange cultural revolution.

However, something here is neither global nor liberal, and it is certainly not order. Most of the world does not recognize or understand the strange LGBT obsession and fetishization of Western institutions and corporations. Most countries in the world are not ritually ashamed of their past, they do not decapitate statues of their founders and discoverers, of their generals and heroes. What about the liberal part? Was what Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau did to the protesting drivers liberal? Was state violence against mandatory vaccination protesters liberal? How liberal have the Australian authorities treated Djokovic, and their own citizens? Where are the liberal nuances of the terror that the American authorities have imposed on the demonstrators since January 6 of last year? The progressive elite use the word liberal as some sort of elastic fig leaf to cover up all manner of embarrassments. Liberal is what they say is liberal. A mockery of the tongue, an abuse of words. Postmodern butchers process the word like a piece of cold meat.

We come to the order. We have seen that it is not global, it is not exactly liberal, but is it still order? The scenes in the US from the border with Mexico are like from a post-apocalyptic action. In Europe it is not much different with the migrant adventures of millions of young men. Many Western cities have become downright dangerous for women and children, with rampant gangs terrorizing and robbing. In America, records of street violence are being registered in the most liberal megacities, once symbols of the rise and prosperity. Chaos, fear and hate… Ugh. Liberal world order. This is what is called a hollow phrase. For the sake of this hollow phrase, the powers that be in Washington expect the people of the world not only to swallow, but outright embrace and welcome their own impoverishment. But as historian Victor Davis Hanson has said – these elites never play by the rules they set for others and never pay the price they demand others pay. The question is, what will the others, meaning all of us, do?
