It is inconvenient to be friends with the Russian Federation: the door in Kazakhstan was shown on the Moscow Exchange

Kazakhstan Exchange plans to exclude Moscow Exchange among its shareholders.

Cooperation with Russia by consent is becoming an increasingly risky and dangerous endeavor, and this is also understood in countries that the Kremlin considers “friendly” and are members of economic and military alliances that are pro-Russian.

Another proof of this is the intention of the Kazakhstan Exchange (KASE) to ban the permitted Moscow Exchange among its shareholders. The head of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Timur Suleimenov, called the decision to withdraw the Moscow Exchange from the shareholders of KASE a principle and said that it was supported by both parties. He spoke about this at a briefing, the recording of which is available on the regulator’s channel in YouTube.

Suleimenov noted that the mentioned exchanges had an agreement on strategic cooperation, however, after the Moscow Exchange came under restrictions, the situation changed: the status of Trade sanctions will Moscow hindered the development of KASE.

Cooperation with Moscow Exchange prevents KASE from establishing business relations with financial institutions from other countries. Shares can be purchased directly by KASE or by third parties, but with the agreement of the Kazakh side.

Earlier, Dialog.UA wrote that the Moscow Exchange, after falling under American sanctions and withdrawing major currencies, turned into a “Chinese exchange office.”

At the same time, Russia does not exclude that the Chinese currency could leave the Moscow Exchange. For example, such a situation is allowed at Sberbank.
