portimao –
MotoGP 2023 pre-season test It is over. Francis Bagnaia said, Ducati and Aprilia are undefeated ahead of the start of the new season’s championship.
Bagnaia mastered the test MotoGP 2023 in Portimao last weekend. The Ducati rider posted the fastest time in each series at the Algarve Circuit while creating a new record in the unofficial record time of 1 minute 37.968 seconds.
The result marked Ducati dominating the winter test after Luca Marini was the front rider in the combined session at Sepang, ahead of Bagnaia. Meanwhile, factory teams such as Honda, KTM and Yamaha experienced difficulties even though the latter team put Fabio Quartararo in third place at the trial in Portugal.
Nevertheless, Francis Bagnaia believes Ducati and Aprilia are in the strongest position ahead of the start of MotoGP 2023. This season’s championship will open in Portimao with races on March 24-26.
“I see that Ducati and Aprilia are currently unbeaten,” said the reigning MotoGP champion Autosport. “They are very competitive. However, it’s hard to tell because frankly it’s easier to understand the tests in past years.”
“Now looking at the speed, looking at everything, you don’t know what tires, what components of the bike they are running on. So I don’t know. But at the moment it feels like we have a bigger advantage than last year.”
“It feels like that, but I don’t want to say anything before the race because I already made this mistake [pada tahun lalu] and I don’t want to repeat the same mistake.” Bagnaia.
