This is a hard blow for this furniture business located in Bois-de-Céné in Vendée. During the night of Sunday September 29 to Monday September 30, around 1:55 a.m.the Meubles Badaud business was robbed.
Stolen equipment
The store door was broken into. The thieves then returned and stitched tooling equipment. “We’re going to have to change the doors. The equipment, as it is professional, is expensive,” says Joakim Badaud, manager of the company.
Established for four years in the town, it is already the second time that he suffered a burglary. “The last time, there was the use of a ram car but nothing was stolen,” underlines the boss.
A video to denounce
The building is fully equipped with surveillance cameras. Joakim therefore has videos of the criminals. He made the choice to post one on social media. “This helps alert people to the fact that there is a series of burglaries in progress,” he explains. Since then, the video has been viewed more than 50,000 times.
