At this year’s CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Lionsgate confirmed one of the years-old rumors that Ruben Fleischer, the director of Venom, Uncharted, and Zombieland, would be helming the third installment of the Blinders franchise, and it was also revealed that they would be bringing back the original cast, so you can expect the return of Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and of course Mark Ruffalo.
Considering that the two previous parts of the franchise have generated 687 million dollars worldwide at the box office, it is a bit strange that the studio has waited until now with the third part, but maybe this way there is hope that this time we will not be dealing with a clichéd (and therefore clashed) trilogy ending, in which this time as promised, we can also meet a new generation of infamous magicians. In connection with this, we can report that three new names have joined the party.
On the one hand Ariana Greenblatt will arrivewhom we also met in last year’s biggest hit movie, Barbie, will soon appear in Lionsgate’s upcoming Borderlands, as well as in Eyeshadows, and we recently saw him on Disney+ in Ahsoka, where he portrayed the young version of the title character. Besides him, two other actors signed on for the film: Justice Smith is Dominic Sessa.
Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith és Chris Pine a Dungeons & Dragonsben
Justice Smith is no stranger to magic, as he played the character of Simon, who suffers from severe self-doubt, in Dungeons & Dragons: Outlaw’s Honor, one of the funniest films of last year. We will probably see the exact opposite of this in Szempényvesztok 3. And Sessa was seen in one of the most heart-warming films of last year, Winter Break, alongside Paul Giamatti, and with her performance in it, she bagged a lot of nominations and awards.
