On an area of more than 3,100 square meters, Primark’s one-story store in the Arena Mall will offer customers the latest fashion trends. In addition to must-have items for vacations, its product range includes women’s, men’s and children’s clothes that are essential for everyday life, as well as home decoration items, as well as beauty care products and accessories.
55% of Primark’s clothes are already made using materials from recycled or more sustainable sources, and they aim to increase this to 100% by 2030.
The opening in Budapest is a significant milestone in Primark’s global expansion plans: Hungary is the fashion company’s 17th market worldwide and its 6th market in Central and Eastern Europewhich clearly shows that the region remains key to the development of the brand’s store network.
In 2024, it has been five years since Primark entered the CEE region, opening its first store in Ljubljana, Slovenia in June 2019. The fashion chain currently operates 12 stores in five markets: Slovenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia. In addition to the opening in Budapest, Primark is continuing its ambitious expansion plans in the Central and Eastern European region: in the next year, it will open stores in Timisoara in Romania, Prague in the Czech Republic and Bydgoszcz in Poland.
