The “Kantar TNS” survey in the TV3 program “900 seconds” found out whether residents wear reflective elements on their clothes.
When asked if they wear/use reflective items (e.g. embedded in clothes/shoes, attached to a bag) during autumn-winter period during dark, one fifth (22%) of Latvian residents aged 18-60 said indicated that during the dark always wear reflective elements.
On the other hand, two-fifths (42%) of the population – who do sometimes.
A third (33%) of the population declared that they do not wear/use reflective elements during the dark hours of the day.
3% of the population did not give a specific answer to this question.
