Ivan Pechorin, the head of the Russian Society for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, was found dead in Vladivostok. His death is said to have occurred in a very mysterious way.
“On September 12, 2022, was the tragic death of our colleague, Ivan Pechorin, chief executive of corporate aviation for the development of the Far East and the Arctic,” the company said in a statement Thursday (15 / 9/2022).
“Ivan’s death is an irreparable loss to friends and colleagues, a huge loss to the company. We express our sincere condolences to his family and friends,” said the company.

According to Russian state media RIA Novosti, the Vladivostok administration said a body was found near the village of Beregovoe. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the body was that of Pechorin who drowned on September 10 near Cape Ignatyev in Vladivostok.
Earlier this year, Pechorin’s own company took an unusual public stance. They spoke out against Russia’s war in Ukraine, asking for sympathy for the victims and an end to the conflict.
The move by Pechorin and his company is said to have something to do with the businessman’s mysterious death.
Pechorin joins the list of prominent Russian businessmen who have reportedly died from suicide or very mysterious incidents. Previously, there have been 9 prominent Russian businessmen who have suffered mysterious deaths since the end of January.
