The exchange rate of the dollar continued its decline against the pound, during last week’s trading, to fall to less than 16 pounds.

This decline is considered a decline for the second week, as the dollar lost 4 piasters within 15 days, according to data from the National Bank of Egypt.

Yesterday, Thursday, the dollar in the National Bank of Egypt recorded 15.88 pounds for purchase and 15.98 pounds for sale, compared to 15.91 pounds for purchase and 16.01 pounds for sale last Thursday.

The dollar fell a penny during trading in the first week of August.
