A well-known saying says that to the third of all good things, in the case of the American Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn (61) and his marriage, this probably does not apply. His third wife, Leila George (29), filed for divorce a year after the wedding.
As an actor, he has starred in several films, but his role as a husband is not very good. He first married in 1985 when he married the singer Madonna. The marriage lasted four years and was very tumultuous. At the time, Penn was notorious for outbursts of rage not only against journalists, but he was also accused of domestic violence.
He married for the second time in 1996 and married actress Robin Wright, whom the public knows best as Jenny from a film about Forrest Gump. In the end, Penn apparently did not find happiness with his third wife, Leila, whom he married in July 2020. He was dating a woman more than 30 years younger at the time. On October 15, 2021, however, Leila filed for divorce. Reason for requests according to the British The Sun is not known.
