The Indonesian Parliamentary Concerned Community Forum (Formappi) highlighted the company PT Bertiga Mitra Solusi which won the tender for the replacement of curtains at the official house (rumdin) of the position of a member of the DPR RI worth IDR 43.5 billion. Formappi said that PT Bertiga Mitra Solusi is a information technology company (IT).
Formappi researcher, Lucius Karus, said that PT Bertiga Mitra Solusi mostly works in the IT field. Lucius said that PT Bertiga Mitra Solusi had just worked as an interior provider.
“The profile regarding the interior provider sector seems to be a new field of work for PT Bertiga Mitra Solusi. Because when looking for information about this company, right after the announcement of the curtain tender winner in early April, the company’s field of work information was mostly in the field of information technology,” said Lucius to reporters, Saturday (7/6/2022).
Lucius said that the procurement of curtains was not the main focus or expertise of PT Bertiga Mitra Solusi. He found this suspicious.
“In fact, of the 7 projects attached to the latest website, 6 of them are all related to the IT sector. So it is very clear that PT Bertiga Mitra Solusi is actually a company in the IT sector. the main company, then it really needs to be questioned,” he said.
“I think a good tender process must also take into account the company’s qualifications. Isn’t it funny, IT companies actually get stuck in the curtains? When the winner of the curtain tender is actually a company engaged in the IT world, there might be something wrong in the selection process,” continued Lucius .
Lucius suspects that there is a ‘game’ behind the victory of PT Bertiga Mitra Solusi because the IT company actually won the curtain project. He reminded that the funds budgeted for the curtain project were not a joke.
“There might be some kind of collusion between the tender organizer and the company that won the tender. So that even if the profile of the company in the IT sector is chosen as the contractor for the curtain project. I think questioning the qualifications of the company that won the curtain tender is important because the budget to be managed is not small money,” he explained. .
Therefore, Lucius said that the inaccuracy in determining the winning company for the tender was a sign that the curtain procurement project was not serious. He regretted the state money was used.
“The inaccuracy in determining the winning company for the tender could be one of the explanations for the alleged lack of seriousness in the procurement of these curtains. Of course, it is very unfortunate if the Rp 45 billion money only produces curtains that are careless. Pity for the state money,” added Lucius.
