As part of a tender, with a budget of HUF 4 million, thanks to the municipality of Pátka, the bicycle storage facility, which in the future will connect the locals with public transport on route 8114, was realized. Mayor Dániel Nagy informed feol.hu about the bicycle storage facility created next to the Pátka access road.
– The facility is equipped with an electrical connection, so it is also possible to charge an electric bicycle. We have created covered storage for five bicycles, which can be pre-booked online for free. In addition to these, there are also five outdoor storage areas that can be used freely. We have also created a bicycle service station, which will be appreciated by all those who use the road sections here for cycling, said the mayor, adding that the Hungarian-developed storage facility, as it turned out, closes itself, so bicycles can be safely left there. It can be opened and closed with a code. During a test period, the bicycle point will operate for a while in order to assess the needs.
