The heavy rains and the storms the Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology had warned (Inumet) finally arrived this Wednesday and, in some places, they did not provide any relief.
In Paysandú, where An orange warning was in effect for a few hoursseveral streets were flooded causing damage in the city, as seen in several videos shared on social networks and accessed Montevideo website.
“Heavy rains, high winds, storms” and “deluges,” reported X’s report from the BCP Meteorological Station.

According to the warning issued by Inumet, fog, intense electrical activity and strong wind may occur in the areas covered by the warning.
