Apple ad offer registration to the developer account from its Apple Developer application in seven new countries, including France. There are also Canada, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia and Spain.

Developers can start and end payment for their subscription with local payment methods on iPhone or iPad. And since membership comes as an auto-renewable subscription, it’s easy to keep it active. This feature has so far been available in the United States.
To have your developer account with the “new” method, all you have to do is open the Apple Developer application, go to the Account tab, choose your Apple account and touch the “Enroll Now” button. The application lists the advantages of having a developer account, such as having the beta of iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS, the possibility of distributing applications on the App Store, access to TestFlight for testing its application to up to 10,000 people, as well as analysis, sales and other reporting tools.
The price of a developer account is 98.99 € / year. But as Apple notes, the app automatically adapts to the local currency depending on your country. And for those who are wondering: yes, it is still possible to take a subscription through the Apple site. The application is not compulsory.
