App developers can now include a Reels button for sharing videos. Depending on the app, this should also prevent you from having to upload and then download a video again in order to forward it to Reels from another application.

According to Meta, reels are currently the fastest growing content format on Facebook. I myself have no interest in the short videos, but apparently there is a larger target group. The first partners for simplified sharing are Smule, Vita and VivaVideo. All of these providers now integrate direct sharing with Facebook Reels.
