It became known how many hybrid cars Russians buy

The analytical agency Avtostat has prepared statistics for Auto Mail.ru on the results of hybrid car sales for the first 10 months of 2020.

Most of the cars during this period were sold to Lexus – 96 units. The top three also included Porsche and Volvo – 64 and 53 sold cars, respectively.

Top 5 were closed by Mercedes (17 units) and Infiniti (15 units). Land Rover (4 units) and BMW (2 units) followed. Last year, one Toyota Prius was purchased in Russia, but in 2020 the Japanese company did not sell a single hybrid in our country.

A total of 251 hybrid vehicles were sold in Russia from January to October. This is 15 units less than in 2019.

In the first ten months of this year, new hybrid vehicles, 15 models, have appeared on Russian roads.

Lexus RX takes the lead in sales with 53 cars sold. The top five were also formed by Volvo XC90 (47 units), Porsche Cayenne (31 units), Lexus NX300H (26 units) and Porsche Cayenne Coupe (24 units).

The top 10 were closed by Lexus UX (17 units), Infiniti QX60 (15 units), Porsche Panamera (9 units), Mercedes E-class (9 units) and Volvo XC60 (6 units).

Finally, the last on the list were the hybrid Land Rover Range Rover (4 units), Mercedes GLC (4 units), Mercedes GLE (3 units), BMW i8 (2 units) and Mercedes S-Class (1 unit). …
