The famous Sandan resident Boyanka Terziyska, mother of the popular folk singer Raina, died suddenly at the age of 65.
“Boyana was an extremely good, humane and respectable woman you could always count on,” said newspaper saleswoman Zorka Paskova, with whom Raina’s mother regularly stopped by to buy a newspaper.
Boyanka Terziyska is one of the first traders in Sandanski, there was a shop in the city center. She and her husband Kiril sold men’s and women’s clothes, but after Raina set out to conquer the pop-folk scene, they left the business and went to the capital to be closer to their daughter. Yesterday afternoon Boyanka was buried in the cemetery park in Sandanski, struma.bg writes.
Raina sent her on her last earthly journey, crying inconsolably. The singer’s brother Ognyan and her father Kiril were also in the mourning procession.
Boyanka Terziyska died of cancer. Her favorite garden in the house in Sandanski was the place where she found peace and rest until the end.
The funeral was attended by friends and colleagues of Raina from folk circles, as well as relatives of her brother Ognyan, who is an employee of the Ministry of Interior in Sofia.
