VIVA – Isuzu is the only automotive manufacturer in Indonesia, which consistently delivers vehicles with diesel engines. Starting from car sport utility vehicle or SUV MU-X, to the Elf minibus which is the mainstay of travel entrepreneurs.
The Japanese brand also once had a very iconic product, namely Isuzu Panther. The vehicle is included in the multi-purpose vehicle or MPV segment, and has become a legend since ancient times.
The Isuzu Panther began production in Indonesia in 1991, and initially came with an engine capacity of 2,300cc. Along with the times, the Japanese company then replaced it with a 2,500cc heart pacemaker.

After 29 years of mass production and sale in the country, PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia decided to end the model.
In addition to decreasing demand, they are also constrained by the government’s plan to enforce Euro 4 emission regulations. However, IAMI still guarantees after-sales service including the availability of spare parts.
Reported VIVA Automotive from the Instagram page @isuzuid, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, IAMI admitted that it would soon launch a new product. They also invited Panther fans, to enliven the launch event.
