IDXChannel – Geger lost money in a short period of time reported by Sigit, a Makassar resident, causing PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk (BBRI) provides clarification. The company said that the victim did not lose his money, but instead canceled depositing funds worth Rp. 400 million.
“At 14:04:40, the person concerned (Sigit, Ed) deposited Rp400 million, and at 14:05:29 he withdrew the same amount of money,” explained BRI Corporate Secretary, Aestika Oryza Gunarto, in press release received by the IDX Channel team, Wednesday (17/3/2021).
Thus, the loss of these funds was not caused by BRI’s internal parties, but was carried out by Sigit himself. “The withdrawal was made because the person concerned CANCELED the deposit transaction at BRI,” continued Aestika.
Asetika ensures, the proof of withdrawal made by Sigit when canceling the transaction is valid and valid. Because, there is a signature affixed to the victim himself.
“The receipt of the withdrawal transaction is complete and signed by the person concerned so that the withdrawal transaction is SAH and VALID,” said Aestika.
Previously, Sigit, a resident of Makassar, South Sulawesi, admitted that he was surprised because the money he saved in the bank amounting to Rp400 million was lost in 49 seconds. He had been waiting for 3 years, the money did not come back.
Sigit said that the incident occurred in 2018, when he received an offer for a direct dial program to get a prize by an employee from the party Bank BRI. He was asked to save some money and immediately get a prize.
“The incident started in 2018. Then when I wanted to withdraw the funds and wanted to withdraw Rp. 400 million. It turned out that everything was gone. It’s gone, I asked for the money, it’s gone,” said Sigit to MNC Portal, Wednesday (17/3 / 2021).
Knowing that his money was missing in his bank account, Sigit had the initiative to print a checking account to see evidence of his account transaction. And apparently, the money he saved Rp400 million had changed hands within 49 seconds.
“My money came in on the same date at 49 seconds on the same date, the money moved out without my knowledge. Because it doesn’t make much sense. We just deposited, 49 seconds disappeared without my notification. There was no slip,” he said. (TYO)
