ISSSTE Allocates Extraordinary Personal Loans for Hurricane Otis Affected Beneficiaries

To reinforce support for those affected by Hurricane Otis, the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (Issste) began the allocation of extraordinary personal loans for affected beneficiaries who require it, reported the general director, Pedro Zenteno Santaella.

He explained that the entity’s Representative Office began operations again, after being closed due to the natural disaster in the region. In addition, the director of Economic, Social and Cultural Benefits, Yezmín Lehmann Mendoza, sent trained personnel who will advise interested parties to carry out procedures and expedite the process.

He reminded the public that loans must be requested within 60 days of the declaration issued by the National Civil Protection Coordination (CNPC) https://goo.su/pOMpL.

Each credit is for a maximum amount of 40 thousand pesos, and can be delivered with the following requirements:

1. Last receipt of receipts
2. Valid official identification
3. Proof of address
4. Bank statement

In order to support the workers and pensioners affected by Hurricane Otis, the opinion or certificate issued by the Civil Protection authority for the municipalities of Acapulco de Juárez and Coyuca de Benítez will be excepted on a single occasion.

In the case of individual pensioners, they must present proof of receipts and deductions issued by the insurer that manages the retirement funds and validated by the pension area.

Pedro Zenteno highlighted that the process is completely free and the loan will be given to all those affected who meet the requirements. Furthermore, the interest rate is the lowest of the personal loan types offered by the institute.

Finally, members are informed that the other state pay offices continue to operate normally.
