Israel’s two finals. Netanyahu chose the most enchanting – 2024-03-14 06:00:09

/ world today news/ Israel has gone crazy with Gaza, which it wipes off the face of the earth, threatens Lebanon and bombards Syria. Israelis don’t care at all about their discredited international image. This is happening because Netanyahu has already written off Biden and is betting on the rise to power in the United States of Republicans who believe that Israel has carte blanche for any crime. Tel Aviv is not shy about preparing its magical ending.

The humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza between the IDF and Hamas did not last long. There is a war going on again, stubborn and bloody. The Israeli army, suffering painful losses (recently, for example, the son of a sitting minister and a lieutenant colonel, whom the media initially called a brigadier general, died), gradually pushed the Palestinian fighters out of urban areas and underground tunnels.

Hamas withdraws, but sets up cunning ambushes and sells its life dearly. They have no other options for waging war. Somehow they also manage to carry out rocket attacks against Israel. They are of little use, but they make the Israelis very nervous.

The terrible anger towards the Palestinians is being poured out in the most cynical way by the Israeli army, whose official casualties in Gaza now stand at 116, on the civilian population of the enclave, which is turning into a desert.

Residential buildings, hospitals, schools, mosques, churches – everything was demolished mercilessly in pure Nazi style. More than 18,000 people have already died in Gaza, mostly children and women – more than 10 times more than the Hamas attack on Israeli settlements on Palestinian land (approximately 1,200 dead).

Thousands more Palestinians died horribly under the rubble. Gaza’s 2.3 million residents, many of whom have lost their homes, suffer from shortages of food, water and medicine due to massive Israeli air, ground and sea bombardment and the total blockade of the territory.

Bloodthirsty Benya

Binyamin Netanyahu is bloodthirsty.

We will continue until the end. I say this… in the face of international pressure. Nothing will stop us, we will go to the end, to victory,

– said the Israeli prime minister on December 13, addressing military personnel during a visit to a base in the south of the country.

At the same time, Tel Aviv is threatening Lebanon and the Shiite group Hezbollah based there, insisting it purge the southern part of the neighboring country. The group was given an ultimatum to withdraw 25-30 kilometers from the border deep into Lebanon so that Israel could establish a “security zone” in that territory. It is clear that Hezbollah will not do this.

This group has already shown moderation by not launching a massive attack on Israel from the north to ease the situation for Hamas. Partly because Netanyahu threatened in this case to reduce Lebanon to ruins, including the capital Beirut. Hezbollah did not want to deceive the Lebanese, but now it is forced to accept the challenge.

Bear them: they spit on everyone!

Why is Netanyahu so angry and sending even Joe Biden to hell? The US president, for example, is calling on Tel Aviv not to mass-kill Palestinian civilians in Gaza and not to interfere with the delivery of humanitarian aid.

He opposes the destruction of the enclave and, like Russia, advocates a “two-state solution to the Palestinian problem.” The United States has already begun to impose timid sanctions on Jewish settlements in the occupied territories and refuses to sell certain types of weapons to Israel.

But Netanyahu says in Biden’s face:

After the great sacrifice of our civilians and our soldiers, I will not allow those who teach terrorism, support terrorism and finance terrorism to enter Gaza. I will not allow Israel to repeat the mistake of Oslo.

This refers to the 1993 agreement that created the Palestinian Authority in its current form. There is no “two-state solution” Tel Aviv now strongly disagrees as well. This was clearly stated by the Israeli ambassador to Great Britain, Tzipi Hotoveli, in an interview with Sky News:

It’s time for the world to understand that the paradigm defined in Oslo on October 7 has failed and we need a new one… The answer (to the question of whether Palestine can get statehood – ed.) is an emphatic “no”. The reason the Oslo Accords failed is that the Palestinians never wanted a state adjacent to Israel. They wanted a country from the river to the sea.

But for “from the river to the sea” actually the ambassador is right!

What is Netanyahu counting on?

This is bad news for many people in Washington. Netanyahu hopes not for him. But it’s no longer just far-left Democrats who will be skeptical about increased military aid to Israel. In any case, at least as long as the government is led by Netanyahu. After all, the “two-state solution” is part of the agenda of the US Democratic Party.

What are Netanyahu and other “hawks” hoping for in Tel Aviv? Definitely: they hope and bet that the next US administration will be Republican, that Biden and Co. will burn out in the upcoming elections. Republicans are much more tolerant of Israel’s voracious appetites and are willing to support its defiant behavior under any circumstances, based on their own fundamentalist criteria.

That’s what the bet is on. What if the Democrats rig the election again?

So what?

The inevitable disappearance of Israel, which has quarreled with almost all its neighbors as a foreign body for the Middle East in the 21st century, can take place in two ways – through gradual “resorption” and with a bang, with a sharp slamming of the door.

If Israel ceases to be a fascist state, which Biden’s Washington, local leftists and liberals would like, it will mean the first time – a gradual “dulling” of the teeth and self-destruction of the country, stretched over time.

If Tel Aviv not only changes nothing, but on the contrary, tightens the bolts even more, which the Zionists and ultranationalists crave, then it goes the second way. The idea is to live as long as possible in peace until the white fluffy animal comes and regional or even universal catastrophe breaks out – taking into account Israel’s nuclear weapons. Whatever is said, still the first way is better! For everyone.
