Israel’s Energy Minister Announces Agreement with US President on Water Supply in Gaza Strip

Israel’s energy minister said the decision was agreed between the country’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden, according to skynews.com.

The decision to reopen the water at certain points is “in line with Israel’s policy” in Gaza, Israel Katz said, according to mediafax.

Hebrew media reported a partial resumption of water supply in southern Gaza. This move comes as an attempt to get the Palestinians to leave the northern areas of the Gaza Strip.

Last Wednesday, the water supply to the area was stopped

Gaza’s only power plant, which had been operating intermittently for days, was shut down on Wednesday after running out of fuel. Without electricity, water cannot be pumped into houses.
