Footage of the Israeli military bombing Al-Isra University in southern Gaza sparked international outrage. Hamas said the attacks on educational institutions were part of “genocide and ethnic cleansing” in Gaza and Israel’s aim to “destroy all elements of life” in the area.
“We call on the United Nations and international rights groups to document all the crimes of the terrorist Zionist occupation of the Gaza Strip, condemn and prosecute this criminal act,” Hamas said.
