Israel’s CropX and CNH launch API for digital agriculture

Israeli digital technology company CropX and leading agricultural machinery manufacturer CNH have introduced a new API that will automate the transfer of data from CNH equipment to the CropX platform. This integration will enable data visualization, record keeping, farm planning and the application of variable rates.

The data collected can be visualized in tables or maps, which in turn can be overlaid with other layers of information, facilitating farmers and agronomic advisors access to valuable data for decision-making. In addition, the collaboration will promote the creation of fertilization and sowing maps, using advanced agronomic tools available on the CropX platform.

With this partnership, CropX expands its network of collaborations by now working with the two leading agricultural machinery manufacturers in the world: CNH and John Deere.

“The API between CNH and CropX combines the strengths of both companies to deliver significant benefits to farmers,” said Tomer Tzach, CEO of CropX. According to Tzach, “Data connections are critical to digital solutions in agriculture. At CropX, we focus on integrating data sources that strengthen our system and bring significant value to farming operations.”

Dan Danford, CNH Precision Technology Partner Manager, added: “Improving data connectivity allows our customers to get more value from the information collected by CNH machinery.” Danford also highlighted that making this data easier to use in the CropX agronomic management system improves the user experience, making precision farming more intuitive. “This enables operators to increase their productivity by making more informed decisions based on reliable data,” he concluded.
