On Tuesday, the Israeli army revealed details of the violation of the truce agreed upon with Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip.
The army said in a statement: “In the last hour, 3 explosive devices exploded in two different incidents in the northern Gaza Strip near Israeli army forces, in violation of ceasefire agreements, and in one case, gunfire was directed at the force.”
He added: “This resulted in a number of fighters being slightly injured, and in both incidents, Israeli army forces remained within the agreed-upon ceasefire lines.”
On Tuesday, Hamas called for pressure on Israel to adhere to all terms of the truce on the ground and in the air.
The military spokesman for the movement’s military wing, Abu Ubaida, said: “As a result of a clear violation by the enemy of the truce agreement in the northern Gaza Strip today, field friction occurred and our mujahideen dealt with this violation.”
He added: “We are committed to the truce as long as the enemy adheres to it, and we call on the mediators to put pressure on the occupation to adhere to all the terms of the truce on the ground and in the air.”
